PHE and Ameresco teaming up to present at the PAEP 2025 Annual Conference in State College, PA

PHE, and our client Ameresco, will present "Energy in North America: The Role of Renewables" at the Pennsylvania Association of Environmental Professional's (PAEP) Annual Conference on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

Dawn Schilling, P.E., AICP, Associate Principal with PHE will be joined by Joseph Vitella, P.E., C.E.M., M.B.A, M.ENG, Senior Director - Federal Project Implementation at Ameresco in this overview of the current energy market in North America. The presentation will include information on the predominant energy generation sources supplying the US electric grid and the primary consumers of energy. Dawn and Joe will delve briefly into the structure of wholesale electricity markets, offering an overview of Independent System Operators (ISOs) and Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs). They will also explore projected future energy needs and discuss the strategies the industry is employing, including the use of renewable sources, to address these anticipated demands.
